Poker is one of the most popular card games. The first mention of this card game was in 16th century but in its natural view poker was formed at the beginning of the 20th century. Currently, there are a lot of kinds of poker, such as ‘Let Them Ride Poker’, ‘Caribbean Poker’, ‘Poker Tree’, Red Dog Poker’, 'Pai Gow Poker', ‘Omaha Poker’, ‘Oasis Poker’, ‘7-Card Stud Poker’ and many other poker games.


The way of the Poker game

The quantity of players can be from 2 to 10 with 1 or 2 pack of cards (depending of quantity of players). The pack with 52 cards is used more often for poker. The main card is the Ace, the lowest card is 2. It can also be plaid with or without Jokers. Any card can be named as Joker (more often 2 is named as Joker). The number of Jokers is between 1 and 4. Each player gets 5 cards after the first distribution. The rest of the cards are used for the widow.

All players make their bets. Each player can pass or make bet in border of concrete sum. The player can’t make bet which is less then the bet of previous player. All players can make bet in 3 circles. 

After three circles all players that have made bets can throw any quantity of cards and take new ones instead of the old. When all players switch their cards they make new bets. All bets can be done in three circles. If the bet wasn’t raised during the first circle, the cards are opened. If the bet was raised during all three circles then the cards are opened after the last third circle.  

The player having the best card combination is the winner. The winner gets all the payment.

Five consecutive cards of any suit.

The Ace can’t be the lowest.

Three of a Kind

Three cards of the same meaning.

 

Two Pair

Two cards of the same meaning plus two cards of another meaning.

 

One Pair

Two cards of the same meaning

 

Ace & King

Ace and King of any suits.

 

Zilch

No game

 

  

In case of several players have the same combinations:

The Ace + the King – taking into account the status of the third card, if the third cards are the same then taking into account the  status of the fourth card and etc. If all five cards are the same then taking into account the suit’s priority of the oldest card.

The pair – taking into account the status of the third card, if the third cards are the same then taking into account the status of the fourth card and etc. If all five cards are the same then taking into account the suit’s priority of the third card.

Two pairs – taking into account the status of the oldest pair, if both pairs are the same, then taking into account the status of the fifth card. If all five cards are the same, then taking into account the suit’s priority of the fifth card.

Straight Flush and Royal Flush – taking into account the suit’s priority.

Straight – taking into account the suit priority of the older card.

Flush – taking into account the suit priority, if the suits are the same, then taking into account the suit of the older card.

The suit’s priority (starting with the oldest): hearts, clubs, diamonds, spades.
